Success followed him to Mexico
In September 1917 he sings for the first time in Mexico, with the company from Miguel Sigaldi, a Mexican business man. He sang until the end of November, playing in the Arbeu Theater in Mexico DF and in the Plaza de Toros El Toreo. He appeared again with María Gay and Hipólito Lázaro. And for the first time, with Andrés Perelló de Segurola and the Mexican tenor and movie actor José Mojica. Again, the reviews were excellent. One of the newspapers said “for the first time and against the usual conventions, Vicent Balleter sang again the prologue of Pagliacci. Another newspaper said “Vicent Ballester has completely won the audience”.
