When Vicent moves back to Spain, he carries a contract to carry on more performances in America once he’s back. One of these contracts is to be the Artistic Director of the Teatro Nacional in La Havana. He’ll never be able to do any of it. He’s only 39 years old but the disease he suffered made him very weak. He only plays some concerts and no full operas at all. In Valencia, where he goes and see his family and present himself as the famous singer who’s been successful in America, is scheduled to do two performances in November. But he’s not fine. Reviews of his first show aren’t good at all. He is not able to do his second show and he passes away on October 3rd 1927. He was 40 years old.
